Hi, Currently own an Audi and curious to know how the Mercedes interior build quality fit and finish etc.. stands up to its competitors. Read a couple of reports that the Merc finish is a bit cheap in places but others say that its a mini S class!!

Go and have a look for yourself.
It doesn't have the VW/Audi Germanic buttons or layout, but that's no bad thing.
I love mine but they divide opinion. I would also add that they are a pleasure to live with once you get over the differences.

Late 90s to 06 there was a problem with build quality. After that big improvements and the current models interiors look really good - in a class of their own.
