Intermittent issue with NTG 4.5 screen

Seem to have an issue with the screen on my C class NTG 4.5 command. The display is breaking up really badly, although a slight tap on the side restores it for a short period. Feels like a loose connection to me but not sure how to fix it? When it is working the screen is fine, so no issues with that, just not getting the full signal all of the time.

Also having slight issues with the connectivity of my iPod, music keeps playing but I lose the track titles and cannot select any other artists or tracks as the listings don't work, again this is intermittent so feels like loose connections.

Anyone else seen this before?
 
If its a W204 with NTG4.5, then it is most likely still under warranty, and if so, go straight to nearest dealer (Tony Purslow or Greenoaks) as you are in Camberley

It could be a lose signal cable (although the connector does latch in place), but taking apart the screen surround on the new W204 is not so trivial.

If out of warranty, you have 2 choices (IMHO)
a) Go visit Comand.co.uk in Lightwater (10 mins from you)
b) Go to MB dealer and ask them for a goodwill warranty claim.

- If you've owned car from new then (b) may well work, may also work if not too.

As to the iPod fix, get the firmware updated. If in Warranty then MB dealer, otherwise MB dealer or comand.co.uk can update it. If in Warranty then get maps updated at same time :-)

Unfortunately we have moved to Derbyshire, so Lightwater a bit far now. Will have to go to local MB dealer then, as I don't fancy taking it apart from the sound of it.
