Is the new ML (166) the first 4X4 to have active parking assist?

Is the new ML (166) the first 4X4 to be able to parallel park itself (active parking assist)?

I know Lexus came out with the tech first, albeit with teething problems and took ages to park but I believe the new ML is the first 4X4 to have it as an option.

I know Ford and Toyota has that feature, probably loads of others now as well.

VW Tiguan had it some time ago - think it was first of the VW range to have it, only as an option with parking sensors though.

Saw my first new ML today, it does look more different from the previous model than the press photos suggest.

Thanks, funny that no one really advertises it. I guess when they get the car to park vertically in to a slot, with you outside, then it will be a big selling point.

Yep, my Evoque Dynamic has it - it's a very good system - if a little unnerving the first few times you use it!

The Evoque is packed full of technology (dual-view SatNav screen, wireless headphones for the passenger etc...)

My uncles RR supercharged has plenty of kit too, some of it even works still.
