I did not find the existing Mercedes-Benz SUB Bass speaker that comes with the logic seven HIFI adequate enough so I fitted a third party one and it seems to be okay a whole set up cost less than £1000.
The first view shows the system from the boot. There is still ample room in the boot space as well as easy access to the spare wheel without having to pull anything apart:
This view shows the speaker box which is not cosmetically attractive in broad daylight however it is hidden behind the beauty panel so you can't see it:

All in all the system now has a far better thumping bass response and has significantly enhanced the sound of the stereo
