So I want to test the system and control pressure of my 1985 280CE with the M110.988 engine. Should be simple by connecting the pressure gauge to the top of the fuel distributor and to the inlet of the Warm Up regulator. However the pipe from the fuel distributor goes via a fuel pressure damper which has a vacuum pipe attached to it. So my questions are:
1. Can I attach the pressure gauge hose to the inlet of the fuel accumulator rather than the WUR? This makes it so much easier than to remove the pipe from the WUR.
2. If I do 1. above, do I need to keep the vacuum pipe attached to the fuel accumulator or should I disconnect it.
Thank you.
