Apr 29, 2008 #86 A andy_k MB Enthusiast Joined Apr 23, 2003 Messages 5,204 Location Bexhill, East sussex Car Alfa GTV 3.0 are you using a USB keyboard? if so switch to a PS/2 one it should work then my guess is that when you reset stuff in the BIOS you've disabled Legacy USB support or Does your keyboard have an "F lock" key? if so press that before you press the F2 key beeping suggests that you are pressing a key it doesn't understand Andy

The PC is like 4 years old, no idea where the manual is. I will reset it tonight and see how I get on

Open up the panel and use a torch to look at the make of the motherboard then get into their website and download the manuals or there are info on the website read whatever they said.
