Low miles e55 s211

AT really isn't playing ball. Anyone else fancy a go!

There's a mileage discrepancy on the vehicles MoT history between around 2008/2009. It lost around 12k off the odometer reading from the previous year - plus whatever it should have increased by over that period.

Mileage would have been the only thing going for it IMHO, but with that in question it doesn't appeal. Tatty car otherwise.

I would say it doesn't look/sound like a well cared for example at all - poorly maintained with regards to basic stuff like brakes and tyres on the history so would suggest that the more complex bits have been overloooked too?

Would rather take a well looked after 100k miler with full history any day over that :(

Both of the links are working fine for me? :dk:

Neither link working for me directly but AT is working fine when you go into AT and search on E55 Estates.

I found two estates, one silver and one black.

It's the black one :thumb:

All of the links are working fine for me! :o

The last one I posted in #13 works for me, others don't

They're all still working for me :)

When you post a link for AT, the only bit of the URL you need is this (with no spaces - they were added so it wasn't auto-converted by the forum):

http: / / www . autotrader . co . uk / classified / advert / 201610319299650

So like this (note the URL as it appears in your browser):

Mercedes-Benz E Class 5.4 E55 AMG 5dr

If it still doesn't work with just this, there is maybe a problem on your computer or with the routing from your ISP.

Its got a weeks worth of MOT left (exp 14th Nov), history advisories don't look too bad...needs 12mth ticket for a sale:thumb:

There is however a mileage discrepancy mot 2008 @47k / mot 2009 @35k:dk::confused:...must have one one of those backward running clocks lol or could be MOT station typo...would need to be investigated for sure...

Yes that's what I was referring to earlier in this thread.

Prior to the Dec 08 MOT it had covered circa 25k over the previous year.

It then lost about 12k off the clocks (went from 47k to 35k) - plus whatever it would have covered over that period (it did 25k in the previous year)

Potentially on that basis, another 37k miles - added to the 69k it currently displays makes it well over 100k miles.

Hence I would take the mileage with a pinch of salt until it can be properly investigated.

Your link works but when opened in Chrome the url is
