Sorry to hear about your bad luck with this particular company. Sometimes it is better to buy from a well researched MB dealer, you might pay a little more but at least you know that the car (used) comes with 12 months warranty, and has been regularly serviced - that was my case when i brought a C180 a couple of years ago from MB Exeter. I would contact a solicitor and ask for initial free advice or pay a visit to your local trading standards office at your local council. Hope that helps.

To be fair Amrit, any car (even new ones) can develop a fault within two months, through no fault of the seller.

Have you given them the opportunity to look at the car and address the problem? If so, what happened?

What warranty book is this you speak of? If its their own warranty then its likely to be little more than your statutory rights of buying a second hand car from a dealer. Maybe written in the smallprint of your terms and conditions of sale.

Sounds like and insurance backed warranty? Normally you get a book full of fine print.
