MB C32 and VW R32

Check out this weeks AUTO EXPRESS,

R32 v Alfa GTA v Seat Leon.

Seems the R32 comes third. The leon is cheaper, depreciates less, is more fun to drive and look at, plus is more comfortable, becuase lets face it, in a traffic jam we all do the same speed anyway.

my mates got quite a few motors and one of them is a r32 ..he gave me a lend of it and i hated it ...it really rattles the fillings from your teeth on the motorway ,my e240 a/garde on 18's doesnt ride that hard,,and i dont think its that fast as you need to be in 3rd gear to hit 60 ,though that might just be me slow at gearchanging .but the engine growl is to die for. oh he's also got a 330ci tiptronic and i also had a go in that and i think that is faster:)

The R32 along with the likes of the Focus RS are the car's boy racer's dream of owning. Give me a poweful saloon anyday of the week. Not some hatchback riding around on monster truck alloys lol.

I've got to agree with Andrew here. For the price of a new R32 I would rather buy a secondhand BMW M5 or MB AMG.
I would even consider a Volco T5 R, those are quick!!
As an interesting aside, Durham Constabulary have noticed that when "joy" riders realise they are being pursued by a Newcastle Police Traffic Subaru Impreza they give up very soon after.
Would a R32 have that effect???
