Media Interface cables for W204

I have a 2009 w204 and have just found out it has media interface(code 518) The cables required, are they all standard throughout the MB range or do I need specific ones for my W204? How much should I be paying for these(not wanting to be ripped off from my dealer!!)

You should get the right ones for the car as they differ slightly. That said the MI cables from any other model will work but they wont have the right angled connections so may have to be bent to make them fit. As they are all the same price it makes sense to get the right ones. They are about £57 for the set.

You might also want to check the version of cables, as the earliest ones would not charge the latest Ipod / iphone if that is what you are planning to use.
How annoying is that?

Well after speaking to my dealer, they are going to look me out a set and get them to me by the end of the week. There has been a couple of nigles with my car so they are keen to make ammends. When i bought the car, i said i would never buy another one from there, but they are slowly winning me back.....
