Merc star gear knob

Whilst at Mercedes world, I noticed a very nice style of gear knob...which I think was on more than one model...B-Class, C-Class. Been trying to find a pic online, but can't yet. Black lever, chrome ringed at the top with the MB star inside it (gloss top). LOVE it. Want one on my ML (W163)..overall shape looked similar..is it possible?

I don't think this would work.

The chrome securing nut you see in your pic is inside the leather on the other, this basically holds the knob to both the leather and the shaft.

If you do want to change it may need to be an after market one you use.
