a GTG with a real difference.

spectacular grounds, with a tour of a country house as well .. a real treat as it's only open to the public on certain bank holidays

the ceilings were spectacularly beautiful

loved the colour of Jay's 600 .. perfect.

Thanks very much to Jay, his family and his team for a lovely day out. the little powered cars for the kiddies looked a lot of fun.

the food was tasty too.

Thanks Jay and family for your hospitality. Great to meet friends old and new and it's a shame that rain stopped play in the afternoon. Had a wet drive home to Essex but well worth the trip... some great cars too!

Fantastic day as per usual. Big thanks to Jay and his team for all there hard work. Great to catch up with new & old friends. Also great not to be the only V-Class there for once. Unfortunately didn't get chance to go round the house as my lad was more interested in driving Jays petrol powered kids Merc! ! I think he wants one..

As usual, a great GTG organised by Jay and family. It's always nice to catch up with old friends and get to chat to people I've posted with for years.


It was nice to see some youngsters sharing family time, something which is becoming a rare sight these days. It's heartening that we have parents with traditional family values that sees children encouraged to join in the fun and learn instead of being left at home or shipped out... Well done Dash, Big Un et al.


Some super vehicles of all ages and values were present but due to my excessive chin-wiggling, I failed to take many photographs but out of the handful I did take, this is my favourite.

I've always had a spot for this car.

Many thanks Jay for sharing your stunning collection and thank you and your family + all your helpers for all the hard work it took to organise.

It was great to meet old and new friends with some great cars, the Grosser did stand out and not because of it's size. As Charles said a great Classic Colour, I think his restoration may end up that colour ?

Funny thing was, as soon as everyone left the sunshine came out!
