MPG vs BHP

OK, as long as LHD suits. There are no RHD 4-Matic cars.

There are :D we service one, owner told us you order them in Germany for UK spec, they go from MB to a specialist converter who re-do the front driveshaft and planetary gears for RHD, ship them to a German dealer and then on to the UK customer. I'm told you can order any 4 matic car this way for the UK, I believe it's incredibly expensive but is possible.

Again, a conversion, not a genuine Mercedes factory car.

There are no RHD 4-Matic passenger cars supplied by Mercedes.

No e class I agree with, but not true for all passenger cars. What about ml, gl and r class? They are all badged up as 4 matic...

Sorry, in a funny mood tonight. Too much bubble and squeak probably.

These cars are supplied by Mercedes dealers in Germany, the specialist company does the conversion on behalf of the MB production unit (factory) as it is too costly for MB to do it themselves, then they ship to the MB dealer in Germany The car comes through the German MB dealer network to the UK with full MB warranty just like any other car and is definitely supplied by Mercedes although not a UK Mercedes dealer, agreed.

Never mind all this talk of MPG get yer sen a 500 BHP Porsche Cayenne!

The thread is more about the vehicles I'm looking at all having engines that were made/designed around the same time, yet some are more powerful AND frugal than others.

P.S. the ML 63 AMG has 525bhp and I wouldn't look like a bell-end driving one, unlike in the Porsche.

Well, not as much anyway...

I'm surprised it took this long for a remark ;).
It can also go the other way if, you are inclined to bending over on occasion
