Hi,

I'm trying to use my phone as a music source in my 2006 X164 GL with a NTG2 Command system. The phone is paired with the HFP for calls and I was wondering if I could connect the phone to the iPod adaptor in the glove box. I have tried another Bluetooth to FM adaptor for audio which works fine but the sound quality is a bit limited. The iPod interface has the advantage of having the steering wheel controls and a direct audio input to the Command. The iPod interface is fitted with the older 30 pin Apple connector. Has anyone tried using the Apple Lighting to 30 Pin adaptor? They are quite expensive so don't want to just buy one to try it out!

The Genuine lightning to 30 pin converter will work fine with the existing ipod kit. They cost about £25 thats all.

Thanks
