I honestly don't think dropping the price will achieve anything...unless obviously you drop it significantly. That isn't the issue, you just need the right person to come along.

unfortunately no-one wants to pay a big chunk of money for an 18 year old C43 unless it's a classic w124 E500 which can fetch high sums.
you need to find the right buyer who appreciates this car.

it feels somehow like you put the money down the drain now that you're selling it.
good luck selling it.

Its a 15 plate Astra GTC (3 dr coupe) with 3,100 miles 8 months old. In Black 2.0 CRDTi SRI Auto..

These would retail for £12995 on Auto trader, so how about that and £2k?

I won't drop the price another penny. This car has had many hours spent on it getting it to a great condition. The right person will come along at some point

all the the time and money invested in your pride and joy, then you decide to sell it coz you want to buy something else.
it feels like money waysted on c43.
i think you should keep your car for life using it only as a summer car if you have the storage to keep it in during winter

I don't think the money is the issue here, as already said, it's just a case of finding the right buyer.

My old C43 (standard, silver and not a patch on yours) was up for sale for ages even though I had distressed the life out the price from day one and made it the best value looking one out there. After over 2 months I was thinking where to go with it when it was the cheapest, best photographed, nicest description one out there, then one morning a guy called and came down and picked it up by midday. That same afternoon 2 more people called.

I'll give you a call once I figure out a way of sneaking that amount of money out the household pot
