I have a set with fully colour coded centres (on the 190E) but the centres get a bit lost so decided on something different..

I think one of the headlamp motors must be lazy as they only went wonky after using them.

Well, it certainly addresses that. Perhaps it is just the angle of this shot, as when viewed on the rear it seems to flow better.

I think what is happening now is the exact opposite, the polished lips are getting lost due to the colour of the inserts...

Looks great but would look out of this world with a black grill and fully colour coded centres, but thats only my opinion, as long as you love it....

Stupid question but how does one actually operate the headlamp washers/wipers?! I've just realised I've be never tried to use them.

Turn the headlights on and push stalk inwards for windscreen washer

They were there but they were all broken, got new ones from MB.. £80 each!

It does look nice. I'm not sure about the wheels though, I've never seen Aero I's painted that way and I'm just not sure if they look right or not.

I have some original amg brochures that show the spokes polished like the lips.

I bet it looks different in the flesh. I have a feeling the photograph isn't doing the wheels any justice.
