Yes ill take some proper pics when im done...

Ive got the exhaust to sort out and finish off the window tints... but ive been very busy sorting the oily bits and other niggles out in the meantime...
Plenty to do... Im spending 2-3 hours every day on the car and I still feel like my list is nowhere near completion.

Just to echo previous posters , the wheels would look better with the silver bits coded too , just the polished lip in silver.

The most fun bit was trying to unlock the seat belts! But figured out that they are sided and have to held at the perfect angle for the lock to release.... how annoyingly clever.

I have the ski attachment though and I have a set of brand new Mercedes bars for the TE.

I always fancied a set of skis on the back of my 911 roof rack! v James Bond Lotus Esprit Turbo ;-)

I did the seven seat conversion on my s124. Hard work. But what fun they are. Sometimes the child in me rides in the boot while my wife drives.

With seven seats, a roof box, winter tyres and snow chains (as my vehicle has), the s124 becomes an invincible machine.

The aero roof bars crop up on ebay all the time. They are very nice: same anthracite colour as the roof rails, with a very low profile and attached with knurled thumb wheels. I would love a period roof box but couldn't find one and plumped for a big Kamei number. The next step is to have the bottom of the box painted mussel grey and the lid of the box smoke silver. I'd be a rich man if I didn't have this disease.
