At the risk of going off topic, I don't even ski or own any skis but I wouldn't mind a ski holder for my 129:

To do:

• Fit Recaro’s when they arrive 
• Refit Diff when its done
• Figure out why interior lights dont come on when I open the door

My fingers are cut, my hands bruised and im sure I must still have bits of car lodged in my scalp….
Its been a busy week…

Once the diff is back, the car should be up to standard for me to begin enjoying it!

p.s. found that my springs and front shocks are still the original AMG items :)

lol... to be honest since fitting a new OVP relay the car feels totally different... much quicker on the pickup... I think the ECU must not have been powering before and not having driven a 300-34 before, I just thought it was normal...

So the TT kit is a maybe now... will see how the car performs for me going forward.
I dont really wanna mess with AMG's super work and am trying to keep it as original as possible..

Also AMG increased engine compression which doesnt sit well with the TT kit which requires a lower than standard compression.

Great effort Jay,

Enjoy many years of driving in your Refurbed AMG TE!

Amazing the amount of effort and attention to detail you put into your motors.

A great credit to you.

Well done Pal.

Leave the turbos off it Jay, there are plenty of 300-24v's that you can play with that kit on but this TE is a little bit of history that's just been given another 10 years of life.

Good on you.

Just paint the old one.

Watch an episode of Wheeler Dealers and Ed China can't resist a tack cloth and a can of Satin Black.

Original Specification and price list for the model:-

(I have the whole Brochure if anyone is keen - June 1991)
