My2013 c coupe sports plus modifications

Dead easy to do.

Watch a few youtube videos on it, specifically those that tell you to disconnect the air intake pipes etc. I found those ones to be the easiest way to do it.

Good luck

Thinking of doing a small amount of vinyl wrap (more than likely through rob from valet magic) on my car when it arrives and wanted peoples opinions. Planning to wrap the middle section of the front lip of the bumper in gloss metallic black along with the roof and rear spoiler and possibly the window trim.

It will already have black mirrors, grille (due to the AMG handling pack, the car itself is tenorite grey) and the black amg alloys so thought it would compliment it well.

Thoughts? I think i've pretty much convinced myself but not 100% yet.

Have a look at the window surrounds there are grooves in them which would be impossible to wrap imho, I'm gonna spray mine with plasti dip

Hi guys

Just a quick question - I'm looking to change the standard front grille on my w204 c250 amg sport plus. I'm looking to fit my car with the c63 front grille but when I spoke to MB they're price was £265 which is nearly twice as much as the price of the same looking product at CKS (£135).

My question is should I buy the front grille from MB or save over £100 and go to CKS??

Regards

Bilal

It's my understanding that a Genuine C63 Grille will not fit the standard model.

To those with the CKS grill fitted, Did it come supplied with the new bracket to secure the top of the grill centrally to the cross member? the back of the grills is different so the original bracket doesn't fit.. I wondering if its not been supplied with the kit, or nobody has it fitted?

I fitted mine myself and your right it doesn't fit the same as the original at the top, I complained to CKS but was told "we have sold loads of these with no complaints and the top bracket is not really needed" i disagreed telling them if it wasnt needed why did MB think that it was with the original, got nowhere with them, as for a kit they never mentioned a kit during my correspondence with them, the grill is now sort of insecure if you push it in at the top above the star but the look for me offsets this minor problem. Hope this helps.

An AMG badge on a C220CDi just isn't right! As much as I like it, I'd feel like a cheat if I put it on my C350 petrol that's much closer but still not a real AMG (despite the AMG wheels, AMG bodystyling and AMG mats). But really, an AMG 170hp diesel??!!

LED Light upgrades

Hi to all - new to the forum - had my C250 coupe around 1 month and loving it so far.

This being a well established mods thread I thought I would enquire if anyone has upgraded their lighting packages from standard to LED themselves? I know CKS offer replacements but the actual bulbs are very cheap and i would like to have a go myself. I'm thinking the footwell, wing mirror puddle lights and door markers.

Any feedback a great help!

I want to change the mirror puddle lights to a more white light than the yellow/orange standard but never plucked up the courage to have a go. I read somewhere you have to take our the mirror and go in from the inside?

Let us know how you get on!

MERCEDES…………..

"With its lowered sports suspension, sports braking system and sports parameter steering*, the C-Class Coupé AMG Sport is set up for dynamic driving. And it looks the part too, thanks to muscular AMG bodystyling including an AMG front apron, side skirts, and diffusor-style rear apron. 18” AMG 7-spoke alloy wheels and LED tail lights provide a striking finishing touch"

Hi, new member here hope my first post helps:
Mercedes part number MA204 885 01 36 (Stay) fits the CKS grille (and the car) perfectly and only £3.20 from the Dealer!, my CKS grille is now fitted properly, but there is still a 23mm gap between grille and plastic slam panel cover at the top, I am working on this also, as I want it to look OEM if possible, just waiting for something to arrive in the post....hehe.
