Since having the W215 in for locating an electrical drain, which they did, in the drivers seat controller, my Navigation isn't working correctly.

I had to recalibrate it as all the stored destinations and information about my tyre size was gone but it still doesn't work.

It can see satellites, up to 8, as before, but whether I have it on Info mode or tracing a route the screen display doesn't update dynamically. It will suddenly jump to the present location but then stays frozen there for ages until the next 'jump'. Obviously this renders it useless.

I'm sure the dealer has cocked something up, as it was working perfectly fine before, but what?

Speed signal?

What does that mean? Is it something I can adjust, or something they have not reconnected properly?

Others will know more than me, I am sure they will come on later, but hopefully this might help.

I don't know your particular car, but one of the wires going into the Comand unit will be the speed signal. So as a first check make sure that all wires are seated properly in the connectors and the the connectors are seated properly in the Comand unit.

I suspect you are right. I don't know how to pull out the COMAND to check that. Dealer can't look at it until next week.

This is interesting. Checked the diagnostic menu, the Infos look fine but the Error codes shows B1767/1, "Navigation parameter missing – wheel size / height ratio."

That was the first thing that I discovered was blank in the Navigation settings on the weekend and I have entered it but it still shows as an active fault. Any ideas anyone?

Update, armed with the above information I went back to the dealer (who intially wanted to conduct more 'tests'). They have reset the unit via STAR and all is working fine.

The annoying thing is this, and the necessity of repairing the antenna lead for the telephone system, both items broken when they were conducting their initial 'tests', were what delayed us to the extent we didn't make the GTG on Sunday.
