New 5 car garage....

I can't imagine when you'd find the time to use many of these cars, especially with four kiddies too.

Still it's a nice collection and I'm certainly not knocking it.

Out of all of them my favourite is the 560E, which will be replaced as favourite as soon as the 560TE is completed.

There's something very appealing about the W124 with the 560 motor.

Yeah, finding time to drive them is challenging, but they all get their fair share on my rotation programme, to ensure they all stay healthy.

Yes, i totally share the same view, the 560 motors in the w124 is a perfect affair...the 560E is the DOHC m117 5.6, the TE will get a standard SOHC 5.6 M117 but with AMG cams and ported heads for an additional 35-40 lbft . Will need all the torque possible to haul the family along at a rate of knots !

Wicked garage fella:rock:

What you doing putting the cars away wet though

Get yourself a 'man' to dry them off once parked nicely inside

Failing that some form of air dryer to start once the doors are closed to ensure they stay nice and dry

Basic error with such nice rides

Don't worry mate, there are 6 dimplex blow heaters in there to dry 'em all up in no time !

im sure you already know but dont use warm air... it will have your suspension squeeking in no time otherwise!

yep thats my one... although it looks slightly different now!

Hi Talbir,
Luvvin' the garage and collection mate, it's a fine set up you have... I've just finished a large garage/workshop in the back garden (9x6mtrs). It's mainly for the coffee business I have, but I'd toyed with the idea of installing a post lift but assumed (wrongly?!?) that they were all 3 phase. Am I right in thinking yours is 240v? I'm gonna look for one of those babies...:D

Cheers
Gary

yep, it's 240V, very straight and simple. I have hooked it up to it's own separate fused socket and own fuse at the fusebox.

I'd absolutely love it if it weren't for the pillars. As it is, it's only a 9.5/10!

Actually thats not the one, if I remember correctly it was of a few cars parked around his house and a picture of Talbir...

There are 4 articles in 4 separate editions in total....and they keep chasing me for more now !

There is also an article in '911 and Porsche World' which featured a joint article on my 911 Turbo slantnose and the silver 500E. That was a nice feature since the 500e's were assembled at Porsche's Weissach factory....same place the 959 and Carrera GT !!!

Have you got a copy of that article Jay ?

I love the columns too.....! Had to match the garage to the house, which also has 4 columns at the front with slate tiles and rendering....:bannana:

.................I am sure this was a sei detached ex corpy house knocked into one that my friend bought and sold on three years ago...are you in Liverpool ?
