New alloys bought for W210 - Bolts dont fit

You have reduced the track width of the car. Also the width at the rear is smaller than that of the front, far from ideal.

So what you and npuk are saying is that i need spacers still!!!! ?

What is the track width exactly and what does that effect?

Spaced out on this one - but getting there - and learning all the time :)

Dont suppose either of you know where i can get some headrests from either do you - that is the second biggest bane of my "new merc" life so far !

Guys - have spoken to VERY helpful man at MAPS Ltd who has gone through everything with me and with your info my info and his nouse, has determined and is supplying Front set of spacers 10mm with 50mm bolts, and rear set of spacers 20mm with 60mm bolts and a set of 58mm locking nuts (to have 8mm taken of for fronts).

Andre Beaney is his name and a very informed and very helpful chap altogether :)

Almost as helpful as you guys have been - thank you :):):)

Glad you got there in the end Mark. If you like the way your wheels look now, youll love them once they fill the arches properly.
