I think the more technology you add the more complicated it becomes and you (as a designer) have more issues (ergonomics, packaging, what BMW have included etc.)

C207 (E class coupe) has a fab wheel, especially when you have to drive fast.

Driven the E500 coupe at brooklands, had a really good driving position which allowed your legs to be comfy and supported at your arms nice and bent at the wheel whilst having your back (all the way to and including the shoulders) supported.

I find the 212 Sport wheel a bit like trying to get to grips with Ron Jeremy. Another ergonomic glitch is the siting of the ventilation controls. I find I have to take my eyes uncomfortably away from the road to adjust.
