New member looking to buy

Morning all,

Currently own a Fiesta ST but should be selling in the next week and looking to my first Mercedes experience.

Went to see an SLK280 (with Designo interior??) yesterday and love it so following a test drive next week im really hoping to make a deal happen.

Ive absolutely no knowledge of Mercedes at all so if anyone could give me advice on this model that im looking at, common problems & what to look for when buying then id really appreciate it!

That model suffers with balance shaft issues in the engine.

R2D2 on here put up a list of engine numbers affected.

You should check that.

Manual 280? That would be quite rare...
