new shell unleaded

In my 95 SL320, Shell V Power returns just over 30mpg driving Scotland to London and back including city driving. Previous trip on Esso unleaded 26mpg ! Driven on same route, same speed, similar conditions. Car is much more responsive with V Power too.

I have now switched to v-power(although i didn't notice any problems when using the new fuelsave stuff),must admit my car does seem more responsive & returns 1 or 2 extra miles per gallon so at 7p a ltr extra i think i will stick with it

Since changing from Shell fuelsave unleaded to B P the difference is unbelievable.
Much quieter, much smoother and engine management light has gone out.
Won't be using Shell again anytime soon!
They must know there is a problem but I E-mailed them twice but no reply?
