Thats cheaky. I'v seen one of the speed camera vans before but surpose the idea is its harder to spot a bike than a large van with yellow on it. Fu**ing sh8t head ******s. There got that off my chest

I'm in Greater Manchester and haven't even seen one of those so no fears in that area.
As for Lazer detectors, I know nothing about them but I do know about the lazer and by the time your detector goes off you're done. I think!

Was an item on the news this morning - They whoever they may be, are thinking of bringing in legislation to ban radar detectors

Devices which detect speed cameras are to be banned, the Government has revealed.
The Department for Transport said it would seek to ban the dashboard devices as soon as possible because of fears motorists were using them to break speed limits without being caught.
Thousands of drivers have installed the detectors after a huge rise in the number of speed camera penalties.

To a degree you're well looked after with detection avoidance technology. Not many other countries allow Road Angels, detectors, etc. And they paint lines on the road so you know where the cameras are, and most of the cameras are painted bright colours!
I never want to drive in Australia again. Fines for being caught with avoidance or detection equipment are huge!

Heard that too.
Looked on BBC but found nothing. Do they mean "detectors" as in Radar and Laser or do they mean GPS alterting, but not detection devices?
Doesn't bother me really, will just force me to come up with a more stealth installation which I would prefer anyway!
