New Top Gear Series Starts Next Sunday

I have set to record --- spain v italy LIVE is my preferred viewing..:D

I know heathen............:p

If anyone is into sailing then the Dover to Calais has you in tears as I would not try it in a GP14

Was that the Stig laughing when Jeremy's wheel came off..??

James' siren had me in tears of laughter!

They might have outdone the amphibious cars skit this time.

Too true. The siren was a scream and the whole programme was hillarious.
I think this program has raised the goalposts, even had a half sensible feature regarding the BMW M3   :D :D

Great program and one of the very few 'Must Watch' things that I bother with.

Bugger!!!! Missed it:(

Nat and I thought that too - what a funny, funny episode - it will be a long time before they better that one

The little bit with the Prius & BMW M3 (fuel economy) was interesting, too.

haha funny ... good finish to the weekend.!

Do you think they really went to the bother of draining those supercars tanks then filling with 1 gallon of petrol, or just driving until empty and maybe destroying the cat's then putting a gallon in?

Yup I had the same thought. But ... the manufacturers must be aware by now that they abuse exotic cars as a matter of course (clutches, gearboxes, brakes, tyres down to the canvas etc.). So maybe they were prepared to replace the cats afterwards, if necessary. Or maybe it was faked.

I would be very surprised if they let them run out of fuel.

140mph and very limited brakeing ability or power steering might not be funny but who cares about reality, that is not what Top Gear is about??

NEVER..... let the truth spaoil a good laugh.

Regards
John

Watched it on bbc iplayer after a disappointing Motogp.. poor old JT.

Top Gear might as well have been a repeat, same format, same scripted gags, same slightly staged bonhomie.. made me laugh a couple of times though.. and what's with the hair stylist?

Yep. I rewound it a few times just to be sure.
