Hi, my W204 320 CDI is showing an error on the upstream O2 sensor. Price quoted by local indie is £244, which seems a bit steep. This looks like a simple lamda senor which are £70 on ebay. Are they even necessary? Any help gratefully received :thumb:

I would stay clear of the eBay sensor. These engines eat up these sensors.
Stick with a mercedes sensor knowing that it is covered for 2 years.

Sounds about the right price. I've had my upstream sensor and camshaft position sensor replaced recently.

My indy uses oem parts. The upstream sensor ain't cheap.

My car is a C220cdi.

The part on MB Oxford's parts site today was £200.07 inc. VAT if you use the additional code bonus5. Mine's just been done and was £206 + VAT (sadly not sourced by me, nor from them).
