To keep things honest and open, I would not agree with this.

I had such bad tracking that the steering wheel had to be pointed to the right in order to drive straight. I was told he wasn't sure if anything could be done unless I bought new front tires. He drove the car back to drop it off to me and said he'd done what he could. There was absolutely no change.

I accept he didn't charge extra for the attempted fix of tracking.

I took it to another local garage, we'll respected not a Merc specialist, I was told the tracking was well out, it was fixed and the car returned driving straight as an arrow.

Just important to get a range of views.
