and you are not bidding because? Modding the mod is the way to go! Or is the CE backbox totally different?

It says it's for 6 cyl W124s (E280 E300 E320), and Howard's is a 230. Maybe it would fit with a bit of tweaking?

For those who are thinking of fitting this to a W124 V8, the seller states that it wont fit the E60, so I guess it wont fit the 500 or 400 either. Guess its for the 6 cylinders only, beautiful exhaust!

You can almost fit any exhaust to any car, the box could almost definitely be fitted to any W124 but some pipework fabrication would be needed.

Think the saloon and coupe may have different rear sections! At that money you wouldnt want to get it wrong! made by erberspacher according to the german text??

However, I agree with Shude looking at the Box / tailpipes its quite different from my original backbox on the e320 coupe...

On my car the tailpipes come out of the box bend sharp toward the left and then bend sharp again toward the rear to straitghen out - the cutaway in the bumper is on the left hand side.

This would prob suit a car without the cutaway bumper or some one will have to fabricate the rear pipes if fitting to later model -post 94 ( not sure on the £ involved ) ??

yeah but it goes sideways along the back of the car - completely different shape because the fuel tank is in a different place
