Hi guys,

Anyone know of a reputable outfit who can source and install parking sensors or parktronic for my E class? I'd prefer original MB stuff but, but if you can't tell the difference I won't complain!

I'm not sure if this is something Alfie could do?

That is his user name.

If not then these folks can but a kosher job will not be cheap.

Regards
John

They are not that far from Alfie and it would be worth the run.

Do make sure that they are painted correctly so as not to ruin them from the start

If you want PT on the front and rear what i would say is prepare to sell a kidney.

Its such a pain in the ****, rear PT only is a lot simpler and cheaper.

Got to admit this is the one factory option I wished I had opted for....

Is there an option that looks and works the same as PT but doesn't come with the full cost of MB parts? I just don't want it to appear imediately obvious as an after market part once I come to sell the car.

To do this with factory parts throughout is a big and expensive job. Reckon on about £1500 - £2000:eek: We dont offer it.

Unless you use all the genuine parts then it will always look what it was :o

Don't forget the genuine parktronic option has two sets of interior warning lights.

I wish I had paid the £350 that MB Watford wanted for PT on just the rear of the car.

I did not know that you live in my old part of the world where I was weaned :):)

Yes you did - I asked you ages ago if you knew the area - as my mum used to have a TV tech called Malcolm who was also occasionally able to fix very difficult problems with a happy smile and a cheerful wave.:D
