One very lucky police officer

Did you notice "Calib. required" on the video ... presumably speed figures from that would not have been admissible as evidence (somewhat academic in this case!).
Police PILOT, the on-board speed detection device has a 7 day calibration that automatically 'drops out' after the 7 days.

It must be recalibrated on a set and certificated distance when, 'calibration required' or when tyres are changed, it operates on a pulse system of tyre rotation and a new tyres would increases the tyres circumference and thus need to be changed. This recalibration must be noted in the vehicles log book.

Most pursuit and 'main set' type vehicles have a calibrated speedo, however this is done and certificated only once in the lifetime of the vehicle and should be used to confirm an Officers suspicion of excess speed.

Adamson had 25 convictions for 53 offences and added he was on licence at the time the offence was committed.

And despite all this, he only received a two year driving ban. It's about time these Herberts got a serious ban - how about a ban from driving - for life?

That is one of the reasons why I will never become a Traffic Cop... to nick this scrote time after time and he is constantly let out to commit crime after crime.

Thank god for thickos in charge of 'Justice'.

I often feel the entire prison service should be subcontracted to the Russians. Let them build roads in Siberia for a bit. Famous quote from a Russian Minister when asked about prisoners rights by a western journalist "what rights?" or words to that effect.
