Came across this website designed for independants servicing Mercedes cars.

It appears to have a pay as you go access to the WIS EPC etc. information for 1 day, 1 week,1 year etc.
e.g access to WIS for 1 day 25 euros +vat.

Doubt however if this is available to individual owners But you never know

Goto the US site, at www.startekinfo.com - same info, just MB USA charges you less than MB Europe. (1 day is $18 and no taxes !!)

You'll need to persuade it to authenticate from your UK credit card but thinking you are in the USA. You do this by (a) putting your correct house number/road in. Using the digits in your postcode and adding enough zeros to the end to make it 5 digits, then use that for the ZIP code. (for instance SE21 7YH becomes 21700).

Also, 24 hours access gets you to midnight the following night, i.e between 24 and 47hours-59 minutes (can't remember which timezone that is based on in the US though)
