A friend's daughter took this last night at Brill. Stunning:

Taken in the garden of PXW Towers in the small hours of Saturday morning

As often with aurora, it only looked like a faint white/grey glow to the naked eye - if I hadn’t heard somewhere or other (!) that the aurora were around I wouldn’t have bothered getting my phone out. Camera light sensors are really so much better than eyes!

Are your ankles bruised yet?
:) He belongs to Mr and Mrs PXW Jr, so I’ve had limited exposure to the weapon. He is 8 months old and already 32kg, so he’s a big boy - that’s the biggest cone the Vet has. Still young enough to be really exuberant whenever we visit, but is finding the cone very frustrating, despite the smile in the photo. And he is missing his normal 90-120 minutes of daily exercise so is a bit stir crazy. All be over soon enough though and then he can continue his training to grow up into a big soft goofy dog.

Hi,
We went to Kyrgyzstan on holiday last week - what an amazing country!
Below are a few post sunset photos taken from the balcony of the guesthouse we stayed at in the Chon-Kemin valley.
These photos were taken on my iPhone and are totally unedited!
