Piston Heads e55 w210

A Japanese import - small number plate recess on the boot lid and holder on the front bumper. Jap. Spec double din nav / stereo if I'm not mistaken.

Not saying it's a defo Jap. thing, but they seem to like updating lights & wheels.

Definite Jap import, awful car, headlights in a very poor condition. The market seems to be flooded with horrible jap import cars now.

Looks okay to me, but a tad overpriced unless it has supporting history / bills to show it has been maintained, especially at that mileage.

On a W210, hazy headlight would be the least of my worries. I'd be annoyed though and the damaged star on the bootlid. But if it was really rust free, after 8 British winters, it might be worth a punt. Body work is never cheap.

If it was a uk car with 23k miles and one p/owner and full history you could name your price really because these cars are becoming very rare with good provenance. This one has speedo in km/h, aftermarket steering wheel and the wrong AMG wheels!!! And that's before you look into it properly.

If as stated it has no rust that is a cheap car it's worth more, there is no mention of rust on any of its mots since 2010 when it arrived in the uk.

The steering wheel is oem.

Rubbish wrong wheels ,wrong tail lights is far from stunning!
Ruined IMHO!

That was my car, and no. As CSR wrongly mentions. It was not a "horrible Jap import" I don't own horrible cars.

Sadly, I wasn't aware I was selling it to a trader who did not even have the decency to take his own photos and write his own advert.

and it was completely rust free. As I am no longer living in UK, I've put some of my cars for sale and advertised it on piston heads at £5750. It sold the first day.

Thats a nice car. Most E55s are rusty so its refreshing to see a clean one. The aftermarket mods are personal and it can be reverted to stock relatively easily if someone wanted to.

Take no notice. There are quite a few nit-picking nitwits on this forum:rolleyes:; just ignore them.

i really like that, it does make a change from silver and at 5795 it was a good buy for someone, at 9876.54 (where the hell does he get that figure from) its not, i wouldn't pay anywhere near that figure, for that kind of money you can get a E55k sure with more miles and more owners but still a better car, along with lots of other cars you could also get an Audi RS6 Avant with 450 bhp compared to 349 BHP, Quattro to put the power down properly and a bigger boot!

still love this white 210 just silly money at the dealers price

Was it an import though? It's in kilometres. Looks good in white.

What the eBay seller?

Forum member has said he was the Piston heads seller and that the new seller has used his advert and his pictures. Good work if you can get it

Pay somewhere around 5700 and sell for 10k without even having to write and Ad or take any pics, looks like he won't have needed to clean or prep it either

Nice!

It would seem the current seller is also a forum member judging by the advert in Classified, but he may have just added the link to the car, rather than actually being the seller.
