The media channel that replaced Pravda.....
Thanks both. Never heard of either 😂
(No TV, newspapers, or social media, so perhaps not surprising!).

If I recall, Pravda is Russian for ‘Truth’ and was (maybe still is) a newspaper.

There were two major printed propaganda outlets in Russia in the days of the Soviet Union, Izvestia ('News') and Pravda ('Truth'). The Russian saying was that there was no truth in Pravda and no news in Izvestia.

No wonder you are so ill informed.
You will certainly be ill-informed if you believe the comments on RT. Two sample comments on their latest on the fuel 'crisis':

"The fuel crisis was caused by the Government
The food supply crisis was caused by the Government
The illegal immigrant crisis was caused by the Government
Hyper inflation was caused by the Government
The energy crisis was caused by the Government
The shipping crisis was caused by the Government
The healthcare crisis was caused by the Government
The education crisis was caused by the Government"

and

"Isn't it interesting how this "crisis" strikes only Britain and just in time for the Climate Change Conference in Glasgow and the whole 15-minute city agenda pushed by WEF? Convid crisis somehow seamlessly merged into the climate crisis but both somehow mean more sitting at home, higher prices for energy (and by default for everything else), lower consumption and higher taxes. You will own nothing and you will be happy. The globalist cabal will own everything and will be even happier."

It's a point of view; so is denying evolution in schools in Kansas. Tinfoil hat, anybody?

Meanwhile, back in the thread.... Things do seem to be easing. Beaconsfield M40 services had plenty of petrol yesterday and the day before, but no diesel, and today plenty of diesel but no petrol, and no significant queues on any of the three days. That may partially be down to the prices, of course, but some local stations also have fuel today and the queues are getting shorter.

Well did a serious run round to day in all 200 miles, and saw plenty of forecourts closed, but weird exceptions Potters bar BP garage plenty of fuel,Cockfosters BP all of 3 miles away shut, also on the A12 at Marks Tay London bound a Shell garage with just two cars at the pumps seemed to have plenty of fuel, got most of this run up to 1 pm in the dry but the run home M25/A12/A120 was heavy rain but still got just over half a tank so not too worried.

Are there particular things you think I'm ill informed about...?!
Or perhaps the question should be: which of my posts/ opinions makes you think I'm ill informed?

Out of interest, how do you know?

I meant that he didn't have TV, radio or newspapers rather than the fact he didn't watch RT but good rant. Do you feel better now?

Well the Potters bar BP was in use when I went past it at 12.30pm and still serving at 2.15 when I returned, and the Cockfosters one was closed when I passed it both times,as for the Shell on the A12 well as I passed it at 10.30 am I was in some serious traffic that practically came to a halt as there is a slip road in front of that Shell garage and trucks park there ,and one forced his way out on the A12 and stopped the traffic for a few moments and all the pumps were open,of course if you wanted high octane petrol I cannot say they had any.
