Just filled up at Tesco. 3 cars plus me in there at the time. Once again makes me grateful we live in a very small populated area. So much more expensive to live in the city along with so many downsides. Go figure.

Sounds like one of those urban myths, always seems to be "a friend".
In fact turning people away because their face does not fit seems more likely to cause trouble for me.

Imagine the headline newspaper stories if someone with a face that did not fit was turned away.

I’ve no issue with your contributions to these lightweight discussion threads, though I do think a quick proof read wouldn’t go amiss; many of them make little sense as written. The problem is that you’re giving some very dubious advice in the technical forums with the risk that someone will follow it, worth reflecting on?

Fuel shortage seems to be sorted now; the petrol stations all seem to be open, all fuels available, in fact things back to normal.

Can't get a pork chop anywhere, though, for some reason...

I also filled up at Tesco on Wednesday, but in a highly populated city. But only 4 cars in total including mine. With 20 pumps available it was the quietest I've known it in the 14 years I've been almost exclusively using the place!

(I'd like to live in the countryside but SWMBO is far less keen. I know my place!)

Thank heavens all those HGV drivers came back from Poland. Phew.

Let's hope they stay and don't go on to Germany or Spain where they're also short of HGV drivers because "they left the country because of Brexit."

Bought some fuel from a filling station in Cricklewood today for the first time in god knows how long. Straight into an empty forecourt and back out in about 5 minutes.
