Hi all,
My R129 SL500 has some very slight rust on the lips of one arch, plus a small bubble on the front of one rear arch. Also a few minor stone chips. It's a silver car and I don't really want to respray the whole car due to the cost.
I've got to decide whether to replace the panels or get a good bodyshop to cut out the rust and then respray. I'm worried that Silver is a hard colour to match, so I'm looking for recommendations for a bodyshop in Kent or Sussex who can do a great job at the repairs. I am pretty fussy an if there is any difference in colour I'll be forever looking at it!
Any recommended top body shops?
Also, my car had the front arch lips rolled at the factory to take the 18 inch AMG split rims. If I get new panels, are these available or does the bodyshop do this themselves?
