Registration plate options?

I have seen many plates with either peoples names or campany names & tel number in quite small (but very readable/noticeable) letters under the actual reg number, but still on the plate, so, eg, you say you want an 02 plate, and are in the elctrical business, so, eg, company name is JOE BLOGGS Electrics, your new plate is, JO02ELC, or JB02AMP, under the reg number, you can put, JOE BLOGGS ELECTRICS tel; 0000 000 0000 ! People will still see it and will be able to understand the plate, simples eh, I have been considering same, I have an agency for chefs & hospitality staff, originally wanted C11EFS, but its not avail, but I am not sure whether to get a company related plate, or just a good dateless one.

What is being proposed may not affect the MOT but it could be problematic if stopped in a VOSA roadside check or by an assiduous traffic cop.
