Removing keyless go module

I have a problem with the keyless entry and keyless go on my 2014 E-250 W212 premium amg sport. Neither door will open with keyless entry and I have to use the fob for this and to start the car.
Fuses 46, 74 and 92 are not blown so I suspect the keyless go module in the boot has a fault. I would like to know if the fob should still operate the doors and ignition if I disconnect the module?

Have you checked if you have accidentally disabled keyless entry on your car? I don't have keyless entry in any of my cars so I cannot advice how to enable/disable this feature, but I know it can be done.
