2001 SLK 230 called Roxi
Hi all,

Soooo I've collected my SLK 230 2001 and love her. First time driving both an MB and automatic and I really don't think ill look back on either :bannana:

The car is fitted with a standard MB CD player. I would love to be able to connect my iPhone/iPod so that it plays through the speakers (possibly with the option to answer calls hands free). Can I have some advice on how best to go about it please? I.e. best system, is fitting difficult, expensive. I don't want to compromise the car in any way.

As always thanks in advance for you help (",)

I have just had Halfords fit a Sony head unit (Radio/CD) in my runabout Micra. It has bluetooth so plays music from my iphone, and of course receives and makes call hands free and mutes the music automatically.

To answer and end a call its just one push on the volume knob, couldn't be better.

The best of all was the price, £80 for the unit and £30 to fit.

It was difficult to fit, beyond me, the dash had to come out which meant removing windscreen pillar trim. Took them about 2 hours, great value I think.

Thanks for your responses I'm going to check your links out
