Been just over a week now and I've finally got round to downloading some pics to show how wonderful our weather is here!!

Worst thing is it begins to thaw in the day, turning to water, then freezes at night creating a nice ice rink to walk and drive on! But, it's pretty out on the country roads.... :)

Is that big blue building in the first pic the one that was in the Bourne Identity ?

Yeah, theres only one blue highrise in the whole of Russia ;)

The one in the Bourne Supremacy was infront of a park IIRC (where he meets the girl whos parents he killed)

If those pictures are of springtime what must Autumn and Winter be like?

Thanks for the comments!! :) Yeah, that blue building looks a lot like the Bourne one in Moscow doesn't it! There's not many blue ones in Vladimir, but loads in Moscow! :)

Actually, this year spring has been particularly bad. Normally the snow and ice would have gone by now. Just my luck eh! :D

Anyway, importantly, it's Mrs S's final exams tomorrow!!! If she passes (which I'm sure she will!!) she'll have a degree in psychology - - so watch out any of you that meet her in the future! :D:D:D She's hoping to work as a psychologist eventually and give up the translating. Might be converting the garage after all, to build her a clinic! :D:D

One thing, I have to heep mountains of praise on my little Nissan! After 6 months in a garage, he started up and has run faultlessly since, coping with the freezing ice in his stride! What a car! Just shows the Japanese domestic market cars really are very, very good! Not sure the British built Nissan's would do so well.....

We had spring last week - this week we are going back to winter with snow forecast in Scotland late Monday!

On my way to North Uist at the end of next week so that should be interesting

Aboyne in Aberdeenshire last week 23 degrees----- this week 3 degrees! Last week those winter tyres seemed a useless affectation of the motoring chattering classes--- this week---???

Try to stay calm. Just lie back on the couch and tell about your first childhood memories. When did you first become aware of this unhealthy obsession with the Mercedes CLS ?;) Congrats to the missus by the way .:thumb:
