S-Class Comand Trouble !!

Have been having a problem with the Comand

No sat nav,telephone audio, screen going blank etc. Rang Brooklands as they service the car, bring it down tomorrow and we will check it over. Tomorrow comes and everything is working again, so i take it down anyway, they can't find anything wrong.

A couple of days go by and it comes back. They picked the car up this morning with the fault still there, they rang me to say the hard drive is broken,you will have to have a hole new Comand system £ 5,034 + VAT.


Warranty runs out in January, lucky boy.

Real gold I would say,plated can`t be that much
After all the problems you`ve had in the past year,looks like you got lucky this time

Remember there is a two year warranty on that new part BTW.

The NTG3 display and main unit are seperate. If the hard drive is gone dont see why they can just change the drive but even if they cant the only have to change the cd part which has the hard drive and is nowhere near £5k.
