I'm trying to remove the piece of carpeted trim in the cargo area on the drivers side that hinges down to reveal the tool kit storage and rear washer bottle.

There appears to be 3 screws holding it in place that form the hinge part of the trim, but having removed them, the damn thing still won't budge.

Is there anything else holding it in place, or does it just need some old fashioned brute force? I fear I may be posting in the wanted section for a replacement before the weekend is over.....

I seem to remember the RHS one is glued to the floor and trying to remove it leaves part of the material behind. Sorry, prob not what you wanted to hear..............

I thought that might be the case, I just didn't want to damage something tryign to get it out. If it's just glued into place at least I know I'm dealing with.

It was indeed glued, but came out o.k without ripping. The whole interior has now been removed and deep cleaned. Now I just need to work up enough enthusiasm to put it all back.
