Hi

Recently acquired a S212 and looking for a boot nat / liner / tray to save the carpet from the worst of the muddy buggy wheels it will have to content with over the winter.

There seem to be a lot of options on places like ebay, wondered if anyone on here could make any recommendations based on experience as to what to buy / avoid?

Thanks for your help

The rubber ones don't allow things to easily slide, which is more of a problem than it might appear, however, when you're trying to push something towards the rear seats, it's difficult,

I bought some heavy duty cord carpet and cut my own.

Very cheap, very durable, easy to vac etc.

I bought from BootBuddy, £93 and it covers everything in the back

I have the reversible boot map from MB (A2126800046 c.£120). It's very good, carpet one side and rubber on the other.

I also got the concertina load sill protector (A2126800246 c.£40) I think this is essential kit for the estate. Protects the bumper when loading and unloading and keeps things clean when sitting in the tailgate changing wellies etc.

Part numbers and current prices included for convenience. Prices do seem to have gone up a bit in the last 3 years, but are still reasonable as they are quality items.

Regards, Neil

Another :thumb::thumb: for a piece of carpet........ End of roll piece, from a carpet warehouse which, was more than enough for the back of the estate ,a tenner and 5 minutes with a craft knife, job done. If you need to protect your bumper just haul it out far enough to cover it. Easy to clean and cheap to throw away if necessary. Why pay more??
