saying good bye to my c36 ....

hi i sold my c36 and tomorrow it goes to a new home i took it for a small spin just to enjoy it one last time took her home check all fluids and gave her the once over for tomorrow

im taking a c230 k as a part ex and some cash

im heading out off the country for a few months and i just could not see her sit some were when i get back i might stop off in england and buy a c43 and drive her home to ireland

loved the car only problem in ireland is tax 1568 euro for a year for her as soon as you go over 3L its the same price so i may as get the biggest w202 i can get yes i know of a few c55 w202 but they never come up for sale

I hope she has gone to a good home. See that level of tax. Its daylight robery, your population need to vote in a pro motorists government I think

that tax is insane, you will miss your c36, i still miss mine 2 years later.

i miss it all ready and she has not left the drive way

ill still be around i have several mercedes w202 's and the c230 k it is a w202 and a nice car needs a bit of work cosmetic i have all the parts in the garage

on my way home from norway in a few months ill pop into england a get a c43

i would love to meet up with people i have been chating to on this site and others for years so if their is a gathering on i could make it a date ill keep my eyes open for the future


i do have on niggle and it is dare i say a w211 5.5 kompresser i have driven one and it still sticks out in my mind ,i fear no w202 could match the power and comfort

and looking at ALPS picture just reminded me
