I think the MB system is the most intuative on the market.
I use mine in LIM most of the time. In a C63 I find not going too faster is harder than maintaining speed.
Set the LIM to 70(ish)mph and just hold your foot down.... can't go any faster.
(Not all the way down though... it cancels it!)
I have made the mistake of flicking the limiter on coming off a roundabout instead of flicking the indicator. Gives you a moment or two of "what the heck is happening!".
I am going to admit to being confused the first time I drove a Mercedes and used cruise.
Factors to consider before finding me guilty of being an idiot was that this car was a spare company vehicle, delivered and parked in the middle of the day. I then drove home in the dark. Of course the cruise controls did not illuminate and when I switched it on (the yellow light) the car tried to stop,... A 2 minute google on my dial up internet at home was more illuminating!
Agree with majority on here, really simple. Even better than the one on my Saab. Being able to use as a speed limiter is an added bonus.
I also like the visual info in the speedo by showing the limits with a series of blocks around the edge.
