Was about to book in to have my boot seals replaced on my SL with PCS a month or two back (even spoke to Ollie) when someone very kindly lobbed a lump of concrete through my back window in Bury! Nice place NOT!
Anyway the insurance company have sorted the car, but I asked the garage to replace the C pillar seals at the same time as doing the new rear window and hence new botom of window seal as that seems to be the advice of most.
The insurance company don't want to pay for them as they say there would be nothing wrong even though the garage pointed out you couldn't easily mate the new one up to the tired old ones hence replacing both C pillar seals and the bottom window seal was the best option.
Anyone know if there are any MB technical douments on this as I know there were some issues with the seals on early cars like mine. Or any pointers to where this info is stated by someone technical!
