Unfortunately it's now also very old, and vastly out of date. You would hope it could be removed without any intrusion to the original fixtures, but I have a nasty feeling you'd have some damage left behind.

He might get what he's asking, he might not, it's worth what someone will pay for it. There's no panny roof which is a shame.
92k miles is quite high for an SL (they are not usually daily drivers), and would probably put some people off. And I agree the 'fitted' satnav would be seen as a minus rather than a plus by most.

Mine just reached 49k last week
100k miles isn't really a lot for a Merc, it's just a bit unusual for an SL (or SLK I guess).

If you look at his user name...they are involved in plant hire sales...I suspect that they have a large rental fleet and use e-bay to dispose of older equipment and the SL60 has just been his toy.

Just out of interest what was this one up for sale for and does anyone know if it sold? I currently have an 1995 SL500 and am tempted by an upgrade to an SL60.
It looks like this guys never sold it from what I can tell and is trying to sell it again now.

Looks OK from what I can see. I have had a bit of Ebay messaging conversation back and forth but all seems like genuine sale so far. Noticed it went through some auction a couple of months back and didn't sell though albeit it slightly more expensive here:

Only just bought my SL500 in Decmeber 2009 and have been working hard on it to get it up to scratch. Replaced VFC, thermostat, radiator and a few bulbs and trims already. Just had new Powerflow exhaust fitted to replace worn stock system and rattling CATS.
I love the SL500 and mine has the optional ADS suspension on it which seems to work really well. Although I can't compare to a stock SL500 suspension set up as haven't drove one.
What is a good price for a decent honest SL60 these days?
