Thanks, no joy on euromerc, Im wondering if they actually exist or if owners have just been clever & added AMG decals to standard deflectors, though I can only find either the standard stretched cloth, or the perspex clear deflectors, yet to see the sporty looking gauze style.

Is the AMG version different in any way other than the AMG logo?

If not, and if a dealer hasn't got it listed, then I suspect it's a sticker sourced from ebay!!

The only AMG version I have seen was the one on the original car I was going to buy, see below pic. I have yet to see the perspex version with any AMG markings, I think a purchase on e-bay is the way forward.

If anyone does know where I could get a similar example to the pic below (rear wind deflector with AMG detail) I would really like to know where I can get my hands on one.

I'd go further and remove the boot badges too.......but sadly it's not my car to play with .

No i would keep them the badges. Why not state the obvious, people that know, only have see those quad exhausts.

Hello again.

My, you do have an interesting car buying life dont you. Anyways, as some have said, the wind deflector is not AMG specific as it will fit all R171's unless you go Designo for the roll bars. If you want a logo? get the official MBClub vynyl sticker for the deflector like I did, it does look cool through the rear screen when the roof is up.

Jimbo2009 deffo the correct choice re the first car, my question would have been what damage occurred for the OE rims to be changed? as no ordinary owner would devalue by non genuine fit.

Definately like the look of the new interior. I use simonize wipes for the leather, regularly as have a cream interior.

Thanks all, due to collect it either later today or tomorrow morning, depending on when it gets back from the AMG Performance centre, having system updates Im told.

The dealer is by Hanger Lane, which in bank Holiday Friday traffic, may be unbearable, thinking perhaps tomorrow morning is the best option.
